Salmon Recipes to try After Your Fishing Charter
Hawaiian Salmon Poke
Ingredients
1/2lb Alaskan Salmon
1 Cup of Calrose Rice
4Tbs Rice Vinegar
3Tbs White Sugar
Marinade
1/2 red onion finely chopped
1 spring onion sliced
1Tbs chopped dill
1 Tbs Toasted sesame seeds
1 Tsp Brown Sugar
1/2 Lemon juiced
1 Lime Juiced
1 Tbs Soy Sauce
1 Tsp Sesame oil
Carrots, Radish, Avocado, Edamame, Wakime, Cucumber, Siracha for Garnish
Instructions
Skin and cube freshly thawed salmon into 1/2” x 1/2” cubes
Cook Rice, once cooked add Rice Vinegar and Sugar into dish, heat and stir until sugar dissolves, pour over rice and cut through with paddle trying to coat every grain
Combine all marinade ingredients into medium sized bowl.
Add cubed salmon and stir gently
Serve over rice with vegetable garnishes
Perfect baked Salmon
Ingredients
1lb Wild Alaskan Salmon
2 tsp Dill
1tsp Salt
1tsp Pepper
2 tbs Butter
20” by 20” sheet of Aluminum Foil
Instructions
Preheat Oven to 400 F
Lay out Aluminum Foil, make sure sheet is large enough to completely wrap around fillet
Rinse Salmon in cold water
Lay Salmon Skin side down on Aluminum foil
Dust with Salt, Pepper and Dill
Place butter center mass
Fold foil around the fish completely incasing salmon
Place in Oven, cook for 17minutes
Serve with Lemon and sour cream
