Springtime 2023

Winter is just not letting go! Water temps are still well below normal and the fish are feeling it. Kings have been spotty unless you are on the south shore right before slack tide. The big buts are slowly starting to move into the shallows north of Bluff Point but the bulk of halibut are still in the trenches.

This May has been cooler than normal and the Salmon fishing has been meh

For those interested in them (which seems to be more every year)

The Pacific Cod have been abundant this spring. We are seeing good numbers of Cod all over from the head of Kachemak Bay to the Inlet.
